1977 Free Agent Profile: Bob Raba

"A free agent, Bob lettered as a tight end on four bowl teams- he appeared in the Peach, Liberty, Gator and Cotton Bowls. He was named to the Atlantic Coast Conference all-academic team and was also selected the Terps' Unsung Hero. A tough competitor, Raba played his junior year with a broken hand. Last fall, he caught 11 passes for 145 yards and two touchdowns. He majored in business administration.
Bob was a three-sport standout at Walt Whitman High. His birthplace is Washington, D.C., his hometown is Bethesda, Maryland, and his name is pronounced RAY-ba."
