"Wyatt was signed as a free agent on the recommendation of Jets coach Joe Gardi, former head coach at Portland of the WFL. A powerful runner with surprising speed, he began his pro career in the Canadian League in 1972 and led Calgary in rushing in 1973. Robert joined the Chicago Fire of the WFL in 1974 and opened 1975 with the WFL's Chicago Winds before the club disbanded. He was picked up by Portland.
Robert's hometown is Victoria, Texas."

"Drafted 17th, Darwin was a two-year starter and a three-year letterman. He caught 32 passes for 480 yards and six touchdowns, including the winning touchdown in Tulane's 14-0 win over LSU in 1973.
Scouts like Darwin's speed (4.8), blocking and steady hands. His collegiate honors include Tulane's lineman of the week (1975), All-South Independent second unit and honorable mention All-Louisiana.
Darwin majored in physical education. He played high school football in Loranger, Louisiana. His hometown is Folsom, Louisiana."

"Williams was a two-year starter for a Tiger club that won 20 of 22 games over two years. He earned a scholarship as a walk-on sophomore and intercepted four passes in 1974 and 1975. A tough player against the run, Gene ran one of the fastest 40's for defensive backs during 'Rookie Weekend' (4.6).
He played football for two different New Orleans high schools and also ran track. Gene's hometown is Marrero, Louisiana."

Tom was a physical education major. He was one of eight children. His hometown is Lorraine, Ohio."
