1976 Rookie Profile: Joe Wysock

Guard
5th Round (1975)
Miami
"Wysock was drafted 5th in 1975, but missed the season with a knee injury after surgery in the spring of 1975.
He's rated a strong in-line blocker with work needed on his pass protection. Joe worked extremely hard on weights in the  off-season to build up his knee and upper body. Along with Carl Barzilauskas, Joe is one of the strongest of the Jets. He also has 5.1 speed.
Joe was a versatile player in college as both a middle linebacker and a right guard. He played in the Blue-Gray Game and the American Bowl.
He enjoys fishing and playing the guitar. His hometown is Lancaster, PA."
